Ford Pinto case.Opinion

Imagen
I think that is difficult to think what I would have done in the case of the engineers or in th case of the manager because in that time the automotive industry in the USA was under pressure because the Japanese industry was increased and built cheaper cars than the industry in Detroit. The main problem I think is the fact that Ford put a price to the life of the persons that could have an accident in their car, that is completly unethical  even more because the company know the problem and even so decide to put the car in the market.  The deepest problem is how important is the market in our days, is the most main objetive generate richness even at the expense of human lifes in certain way.

Learning languages. Questions for a Mexican-American

This are some questions that I will do a Mexican American person about the language learning and how the geographic situation affects it. 1.If you speak another language other besides english, what was your experience when you learn it? 2. What do you think are the keys to learn a foreign language? 3.What it has been our experience living in the US? 4.What do you think about the differences between learning a foreign language on your own country or aboard? 5.What are the consequences of immigration in the linguistic culture of any country?

The language learning problem (5 techniques to solve it).

Sid Efromovich give five techniques to speak any language in his talk in TED, these are very interesting and useful beacause these give a way to simplify the learning process. To exemplify this advantage, we can analyze the first technique that is, take a long breath and relax, don´t take the learning of other language with pressure and don't think that you have to do it  perfect at the first time, because it is impossible, always we will make mistakes and that is well beacause from mistakes we learn. The importance of this technique lies in the fact when the people are just thinking in don't make a mistake the learning could be stressful. In second place we have, scrap the foreign alphabet, this technique give us the possibility to adopt the foreingn language in a better way beacuse you learn to how use the sound and structures of the new lenguage instead use the database of your own language. The third technique it's the most common way to learn a language, find a ...

Results of learning styles questionnaire

Imagen
In conclusion of the result of this questionnaire, first  I agree, because I don't have a specific way to learn something and the result indicates that in three of the scales, I'm in balance respect the two extremes of these. In the case of the first scale I think it's correct too, because I prefer think and reflect more about some topics than participate actively, for example give ideas to solve some problem in a group activity or give an opinion in a discussion. This questionnaire give an idea of how I learn and it's useful to know in which styles of learning I have better results and hence  focus in these.
